Our Story

After years of driving results across nearly a dozen cross-functional domains between them, our founders experienced firsthand what it was like to be repeatedly locked out of meaningful work opportunities as a result of traditional lenses like degrees, titles, and tenure.

They wondered how much talent was wasted through this narrow lens? And how much of this was driving a real skills gap vs. a perceived skills gap?

What if we could change the lens to crowdsource patterns in cross-functional skills from peers, give employees an opportunity to make their learning interests visible, and build real life job requirements from the goals accomplished by real people who have actually done the job?

Latter AI uses AI-powered chatbots & analytics to track goal progression and development, making people more visible and reducing the perceived skills gap inside organizations. With 1 in 3 job functions at risk of significant disruption over the next decade, Latter AI is changing how talent is measured to create more pathways forward for every professional in the world.

Cindy Chan

CEO & Co-founder

Cindy brings 10 years of enterprise experience in sales, HR analytics, performance management, and finance but as a CPA,CA by training, her own experience showed her just how difficult it was to contribute her skillsets to other functions when companies had no way to see potential across domains. This experience inspired her to create Latter AI.

Faisal Al-Tameemi

CTO & Co-founder

Faisal is a seasoned software engineer (7+ yrs of experience) who is passionate about the intersection of Engineering, Business and Psychology. He specializes in software architecture, full-stack development, UX design, machine learning and data science.
